Small Groups Therefore encourage one another and build each other up. 1 Thessalonians 5:11  Book Club
If you enjoy reading a good book, discussing it with others, and relating it to your life and faith journey, you will enjoy the Monday Afternoon Book Club. Interested individuals are welcome to join at any time. This group meets at 1:15 on Monday afternoons for lively conversation about that week’s reading. Recent books that have been enjoyed by the group include The Shack, The Help, To Kill a Mockingbird, and The Memory Keeper’s Daughter.
Quilting for Others
 The Quilting for Others group enjoys fellowship while tying beautiful quilts that are given to those who may need to be warmed by God’s love. Quilts have been given to local women’s shelters, Oaks Indian Center and Haskell Indian Nations University. This group gathers on the first Tuesday evening each month.
This fun group gathers on the fourth Friday of each month to enjoy each others’ company at movies, games, wine tastings, cookouts, restaurant samplings, and other outings. Any adult member, visitor or friend of Good Shepherd is invited to join in the fun! |
